This is my painting "A Present from life".  We get presents in form of skills, talents, people, events, nature, colleagues and so on.   The lady in this painting is a bit confused and does not understand that a bird is giving her a present: a worm.    This is what happens so often to us, we do not see the presents that the life has given us.  Maybe we got a rock and do not understand it is a diamond.

It happens so often that we do not understand or believe the talents  we have been given.

Oil on cotton.
